La Brea on La Brea

If you're feeling design bereft after last month's anti-design-y venue, we return to form this Friday, Apr 9 from 630-8p, at the much talked about The Tar Pit by chef Mark Peel of Campanile. The Art Deco interior is glamourous if a bit old fashioned for our taste but is worth checking out. Luckily, the vintage inspired menu is served with a modern twist (even if prices are strictly contemporary). Hopefully the crowd isn't too old fashioned either. Looking forward to see you on Friday.
