Double Me? No Double You!
The large complex known as the W Hollywood Hotel and Residences just opened and it's time for us to check out if it was worth the cost. A list of local firms were involved in the project including Daly Genik Architects (for the Residences and rooftop pool) and Rios Clementi Hale Studios (for the landscaping), and Sussman/Prezja (for signage). Unfortunately, the exterior is reflective of the firm that designed it, HKS Architects—giant and corporate. But on the upside they re-did the previous Hollywood/Vine station. Anyway, we will be in the relatively interesting lobby bar called the Living Room designed by designstudio of Portland next Fri, Feb 12 from 630-8p for our first event of 2010. Hope to see you there!

Sounds good! I'll see how many Art Center peeps from Out Network I can get together to go over to the Living Room ^_^ Sounds like fun!
