bizarre at Bazaar

The holidays and the end of the year are coming up so we are all busy (stuffing our, ahem, faces), but hopefully not too busy for our last gathering of 2009! This month (that's this Friday, Dec 11th from 630-8p) we'll be checking out Bar Centro, the bar at the SLS Hotel with interiors by Philippe Starck—think Rococo, videos, and monkeys. Try one of José Andrés' signature cocktails that may include liquid nitrogen or flavored air. There's lots to see here if you get tired of looking at us tired designers—a Moss store with things you can't afford, a patisserie with midget little people sized sweets, your "junk" from various angles in the mirrored restroom, and plenty of Euro-trash. And of course, you'll still have time to do some last minute falling acrobat gazing shopping at the Beverly Center or head to yet another holiday party.
